A 'Family' Dinner Party at Mike and Natalie's
Natalie and Mike hosted an amazing dinner at their house on Sunday. The food was great, including homemade mushroom and gorganzola cheese ravioli. The other guests were all people our age with kids. It was great to hang out with other parents. There were a couple of 4 year olds, a teenager, a 9 month old, and Siri (2 months). We are planning on having monthly dinners to keep in touch and have fun. It was great to be at a kid friendly event and have such a wonderful meal and not worry if Siri was being bothersome.

Weighing in at 11 pounds 10 ounces!
After a few failed attempts to go to the Dr.'s office we finally made it there on Wednesday morning. Siri had a great appointment. She had 5 vaccines and didn't have any adverse reactions. The Dr. said that she looked great and he was especially impressed with her muscle tone and how well she could lift herself up when she was on her tummy.
Siri and I went out to lunch at the Elk with Steve, Kathleen, and Natalie. Kathleen had just returned from studying law for a semester in London. It was great to hear about her professors and the theater productions she went to. Both her and my friend Melissa have seen 'Wicked' and both said it was amazing- so if any of you are interested in seeing a broadway production- this one is worthwhile! Steve is not only in law school but is also in a play this spring, so he's keeping busy.
Dinner Party at Mike and Natalies
Mike and Natalie had us over for an amazing dinner on Monday. It was a great start to the first week of classes. Siri was a bit fussy and stayed that way all night- yikes. But in the morning she settled down and since Monday night she has been sleeping for 6-7 hours a night! Our neighboors Sheila, Meghan and Annie have been coming over to babysit while I go to class. It sounds like Siri just loves these guys, especially Annie. Lucky us!

Playing Oh Hell in Minnesota
A Visit to the Abbas'
Siri, Mom, and I went to visit Joan, Wally, Kristina, John, and Kyle Abbas. Joan is my Mom's cousin and Kristina and John were in our wedding. Kristina is a natural at babysitting. She has even begun taking babysitting classes. It's too bad she didn't live closer otherwise I'm sure she'd be watching Siri often.
A Little Princess
Siriana had a great time at Grandma Dorothy's. This crown was given to me by my girlfriends for my bachelorette party. We are now back in Spokane with Erick, Neal and Artimus. The flight back did not go quite as well. For the first 15 min. every single baby on the plane was crying. It was a disaster. But thankfully all at once all of the babies quieted down and Siri went to sleep. One of my law school professors was sitting in the row in front of me and gave me a nice smile when she settled down. Now that we are back in Spokane I am getting ready for classes and Erick is getting jobs lined up. Tonight we are going to our friend Thomas' house for dinner and Erick is going to bid his kitchen remodel. Our neighbors have thankfully agreed to watch Siri when I am in class and Erick is working. We are very lucky to have such wonderful friends. Siri, Erick and I already miss Grandma Julie and Dorothy and can hardly wait to see them in the spring.
