Siri learns how to make HomeBrew

Erick cleaned the bottles, handed them to Betsy, Betsy filled them, handed them to Neal, Neal handed them to Shannon, and Shannon put the caps on. This batch included an addition of Maple Syrup from the Maple sap woods in Wisconsin. It has been about two weeks since we bottled the beer, so we get to try it out tonight, and hopefully it's good. It should be because Siri was supervising the whole operation.

Siri and Erick enjoyed the last batch of HomeBrew. It was a blond beer that turned out GREAT!

Mom's Graduation Information

For those of you who will be attending my Mom's Law school graduation- here are the webpages about graduation weekend and hotel information.
My parents would love to have as many people stay with us as can fit. We have a lot of floor space, and by that time I'll likely be crawling all over you if your on the floor! Otherwise, the Davenport, Hotel Lusso, and the Montvale are beautiful hotels in Downtown Spokane. One of Grandma Dorothy's friends stayed at the Bed and Breakfast and it is supposed to be a wonderful place. Be sure to book your accommodations soon because they are already filling up. The undergrads' are graduating that same weekend so the hotels will be completely full very soon. I hope to see many of you here! I am getting so big you'll hardly recognize me.

4 Month Dr. Appointment

Siri and I went to Dr. Hauxwell's office and she checked out all good! She weighed in at just under 15 pounds and is 26 inches long. She is in the 75th% for her weight and height, which the Dr. explained meant that she is heavier and longer than 75% of the baby's her age. Her head circumference is average. So I guess that means that she has a regular size brain.

Erick and Neal are currently in Honduras volunteering, so Siri and I are here on our own. Melissa Flicek was here for the weekend and we went on a long walk, watched a movie, and had a babysitter for a night so that we could enjoy a drink at the Davenport and karaoke at the Broadway. It was a good time.

She hasn't yet rolled over, but she is standing up with a little help. She is also lifting her body up when she is laying down, although she hasn't quite gotten to the point where she can sit up yet. The Dr. advised us to start baby-proofing the house because she will likely start crawling around soon.

Her next Dr.'s appointment is on May 14th.
